About the RoleSiemens EDA, a global leader in semiconductor design software, is seeking a customer-focused
Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support its
PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization.
You will work closely with leading semiconductor customers to drive successful evaluations, deployments, and adoption of PowerPro, while collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops
- Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins
- Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training
- Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancements
QualificationsRequired - Strong RTL design experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL)
- Knowledge of digital design, STA, synthesis, and verification flows
- A good understanding of coding styles for synthesis and simulation
- Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies
- Scripting skills (Tcl, Python)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- BS/MS in EE, CS, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in RTL(ASIC/FPGA) design is required
Preferred- Experience with power tools (e.g., PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar)
- Knowledge of low-power methodologies (UPF/CPF)
- Customer-facing experience (FAE/AE)
- Exposure to advanced SoC designs and nodes
Additional Information- Hybrid role with up to 20% travel may be required
- Face to face customer meetings are an essential part of this role

The pay range for this position is 146,700 - 293,400 annually with a target incentive of 20 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
