ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Field Application Engineer, you will be part of account team supporting key customers. By working together with experienced storage professionals, FAE team's goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and company success through the entire product life cycle. With Sr. team member's supervision, the tasks will include but not limit to:
  • Responsible for managing technical relationships with the assigned customer. FAE is the go-to person as customer's technical contacts.
  • Own product qualifications, including customer specification collection, sample arrangement, technical issue management and effective customer communication.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and work with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent and advocate customer needs and priorities to internal teams.


Qualifications

REQUIRED:
  • BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3.5 GPA
  • Have desire to develop career in the storage industry
  • Strong data analytic proficiency
  • Effective communicator and interested in customer facing role
  • Strong team player
  • Basic understanding about computer hardware and software architectures
  • Familiar with Windows and/or Linux systems

Preferred Skills:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good project management skills
