Opportunity OverviewWe have an immediate opening for an
OR/PACU Recovery RN to join our team at
RMA of New York in Eastside, New York and Brooklyn, New York.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; Schedules vary depending on the day (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM Eastern Time); 1 to 2 Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) a month and 2 to 3 holidays per year.
- Compensation: $92,000 (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the
OR/PACU Recovery RN will:
- Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
- Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
- Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received IV sedation. conscious sedation
- Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
- Provide patient education

Qualifications and Skills Include:- Active RN license
- Current BLS and/or ACLS certification
- Over 1 year nursing experience and PACU experience is strongly preferred
- Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
