Responsibilities

  • Manage site-survey deliverables to accurately document existing infrastructure and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead the transition from survey/design to implementation phases, ensuring findings are integrated into project plans.
  • Enforce compliance with local, federal, and military standards while maintaining proper documentation and progress reports.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with milestones, budgets, and security protocols.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
      • Security Clearance: Active, verifiable Top Secret / SCI clearance. CI Polygraph eligibility or willingness preferred.
      • Experience: 5-7 years in a project management role with 3-5 years supporting telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, and OSP/ISP design and delivery.
      • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers, project leads, and subcontractors.

      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with interpreting engineering designs, GIS maps, splicing matrices, and construction drawings.
      • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
      • Familiarity with DOW, USACE, or DISA standards.
      • Familiarity with Federal and ICD standards in classified settings.

Preferred locations: Washington DC

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $180,000.00 to $220,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Location: Washington, DC (fully on-site)

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a Federal Project Manager with an active TS/SCI clearance to manage the delivery of large-scale inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure projects in secure federal environments across the Washington, DC Metro area. This role is responsible for overseeing detailed site surveys, engineering new solutions, and managing the transition from discovery through implementation, with a strong focus on onsite leadership, issue resolution, and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Develop project plans, monitor execution, and provide status to key stakeholders ensuring all activities align with project goals and security requirements.
  • Issue Resolution & Remediation: Proactively identify, track, and communicate technical and logistical issues as they arise onsite, leading remediation efforts to sustain project momentum and ensure delivery quality.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, project leads, and subcontractors. Facilitate knowledge transfer, status updates, and issue escalation as needed.
  • Deliverables: Manage and review all site-survey deliverables to ensure accurate documentation of existing infrastructure, rack capacity, and cabling, and assess findings to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement ahead of design and implementation
  • Transition Management: Lead the seamless transition from survey and design phases into implementation, ensuring all findings and recommendations are incorporated into project plans and field execution.
  • Quality & Compliance: Enforce adherence to local, federal and military standards. Maintain documentation, field logs, and classified progress reports.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee project execution from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with project milestones, budgets, and federal security protocols.
