About the PositionPond is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our growing, award-winning Federal group in support of our U.S. Air Force program. This position will be based onsite in Cape Canaveral, FL, working directly with project teams supporting federal facilities.

Successful Project Managers at Pond & Company operate with a team-based philosophy and are responsible for managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams, as well as overseeing sub-consultants. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of design requirements for federal facilities, including both DoD and non-DoD agencies, with specific experience supporting Air Force projects strongly preferred.
Qualifications- Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture
- 5+ years of experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction organization, preferably supporting Federal clients (Air Force experience strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Professional Registration (PE or RA) required
- Thorough knowledge of facilities design and construction, contract management, project delivery, and client relationship management
- Experience with Federal contracting, procurement processes, and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and/or other relevant software
- Ability to work onsite in Cape Canaveral, FL on a full-time basis
- Occasional attendance at meetings and off-site events; must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
- Position may require occasional travel
- Must be able to travel internationally, if required, via passport or other official documentation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC); access to federal installations may require additional security credentials and the ability to obtain a security clearance
