This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Federal Pricing Analyst in Arlington, VA, with the potential to work out of any WSP US office.

You will support the development and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize profitability and minimize company risk under U.S. Government contracts. The Pricing Analyst will be a member of the Federal Contracts/Compliance Team and will provide support in the management and administration of U.S. Government contracts, including compliance with pricing provisions and clauses of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency FAR supplements. This role involves complex data analysis, competitive pricing analysis, and collaboration with various departments to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.

Your Impact
  • Research and provide data in support of government solicitation requirements.
  • Assist with the development of cost and pricing exhibits designed to provide compliant and responsive proposal responses as required by the RFP.
  • Lead all cost volume content development prior to submission in response to client solicitations, contract modifications, requests for equitable adjustments, and terminations for convenience.
  • Develop and communicate pricing requirements in the cost proposal development process.
  • Build and populate pricing templates to facilitate identification and population of staff within estimating data - interacting with Operations, Procurement, and outside sources as necessary.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute pricing strategies within proposals.
  • Assist in obtaining and negotiating subcontractor/supplier quotes.
  • Coordinate pricing reviews with Contracts, Senior Leadership, and other departments as necessary.
  • Perform cost/price/profitability analysis on federal contracts.
  • Provide pricing compliance training and company pricing policies and procedures for awareness to finance, accounting, and operations personnel.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to continuously improve pricing methodologies, templates, and skills.
  • Prepare and/or review cost estimates and ensure prevailing wage cost rates are used, where applicable.
  • Interface with U.S. government and commercial personnel on pricing inquiries and during negotiations.


Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience working in federal pricing for U.S. Government contracts with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies.
  • Four-year bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent.
  • Ability to express yourself clearly and positively, both verbally and in writing, and have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with multiple departments and senior leadership.
  • Capability to respond to a variety of non-routine, and often complex, requests and demands.
  • General knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and agency FAR supplements to include federal contract cost principles, prevailing wage requirements, cost analysis, and price negotiations.
  • Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently, in team settings and under time pressured deadlines to accomplish objectives.
  • Highest ethics, confidence and skills to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing business environment.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $67,900 - $105,900

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $67,900 - $109,300
