How you'll make an impact in this role- Strategic Federal Advocacy: Support key federal advocacy initiatives, shape legislative and regulatory strategy, and engage directly with trade associations, external partners, and congressional and agency staff.
- Legislative Monitoring: Track and monitor federal legislation and regulatory action to support the organization's overarching legislative goals.
- Grassroots Lobbying: Develop, manage, and execute grassroots lobbying initiatives and campaigns.
- Subsidiary Alignment: Guide and support ministry markets and subsidiaries to ensure their advocacy aligns with the coordinated, system-wide strategy.
- Team Collaboration & Training: Partner with team members to assess organizational needs and organize workshops that optimize learning and performance.
- Data & Project Management: Manage associated system databases and develop targeted tools to ensure the success of advocacy projects.
What minimum requirements you'll needEducation:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
