Cohesity is seeking a Federal Field Marketing Manager - Washington, DC to own and execute the marketing strategy for the U.S. Federal market. As the primary marketing partner to the federal sales organization, you'll develop integrated programs that drive pipeline and revenue across DoD, Civilian, Intelligence Community (IC), and Federal System Integrators (FSIs).

You understand the federal buying cycle, know the key partners and events that influence federal buyers, and can build trusted relationships across the ecosystem. You're also comfortable leveraging AI to improve planning, execution, analysis, and operational efficiency, using emerging technologies to drive better marketing outcomes.

How You'll Spend Your Time

Federal Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans across DoD, Civilian, IC, and FSI audiences.


  • Drive and integrate full-funnel campaigns spanning digital, events, ABM, and partner marketing.


  • Collaborate with federal partners and distributors to execute joint GTM initiatives.


  • Partner with Product Marketing on federal-specific messaging and content.


  • Leverage AI to accelerate campaign planning, content creation, reporting, and optimization.


  • Measure pipeline performance and continuously optimize programs based on data.


Federal Sales Alignment

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner for the federal sales organization.


  • Align marketing programs to sales priorities, target accounts, and pipeline goals.


  • Use data and AI-driven insights to identify opportunities and communicate business impact.


Events & Field Programs

  • Plan and execute federal events, executive briefings, webinars, and trade shows.


  • Own Cohesity's presence at key federal industry events and recommend new opportunities.


What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 4+ years supporting U.S. Federal or Public Sector technology sales.


  • Proven success driving pipeline across DoD, Civilian, IC, and/or FSI markets.


  • Strong understanding of the federal buying cycle, procurement landscape, and mission priorities.


  • Experience executing field marketing programs, ABM, partner marketing, and events.


  • Strong collaboration, project management, and analytical skills.


  • Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, and pipeline reporting.


  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, campaign execution, analysis, and decision-making.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity, cloud, data protection, or enterprise infrastructure.


  • Existing network across the federal IT ecosystem.


  • Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks and the federal reseller/distribution landscape.


  • Experience adopting AI-enabled marketing tools or workflow automation.


  • Active or ability to obtain a federal security clearance.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$114,920.00-$143,650.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
