JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/ObjectiveOverall responsibilities include participating in all areas of Business Development, including development of technical, operational, management, teaming, and cost/price solution approaches, as well as reporting to executive management on current capture status. Working as an integral part of the Business Development Team, the Federal Civilian Account Manager helps implement the processes and plans necessary for pursuit and manages their execution.
Essential Functions- Develop and maintain opportunity pipeline(s)
- Own opportunities in your pipeline from beginning to end and lead/help to get the proposal out the door. Sometimes that may include managing a proposal from OnPoint's side, depending on size/scope/role of each specific proposal.
- Prepare and present opportunity briefing/capture documentation and records consistent with approved processes and procedures utilizing a variety of industry research tools
- Write and research information for white papers, proposals, and sources sought requests in addition to blogs and infographics on various industry topics/events
- Engage industry partners and Government stakeholders in regard to opportunity data
- Support and lead tactical and strategic planning for a wide variety of existing projects and new opportunities
- Develop, report on, and update all OnPoint opportunity capture records/documentation to manage opportunities through the Step Review process.
- Attend events and industry days, and conduct strategic research and analysis to gather intel on opportunities in the pipeline
- Lead our Social Media presence on LinkedIn
- Responsible for owning, presenting at, and leading meetings, as well as representing the Business Development team at other meetings.

Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move physical IT equipment.

Desired Education and ExperienceMinimum of 2-3 years of Business Development experience
B.A./B.S.
Research background
Experience in the Government contracting industry
