Job Description:

This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

We are seeking a Technology Feature Lead to drive delivery, stability, and strategic evolution of a mission-critical Global Rates platform. The role is responsible for supporting exiting technology stack and leading consolidation/migration and frontend modernization for full trade lifecycle, including trade capture and trade life cycle, market data, static data, post-trade processing. The role requires full stack development in frontend, middleware and backend database. This role requires strong expertise in modern UI development, distributed systems, APIs, cloud technologies, middleware, databases, and containerized deployments.

The candidate should be a hands-on technologist with deep domain expertise in legacy and moder technology with trade lifecycle software development and ability to operate in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment with a ownership mindset with focus on delivery, stability and outcomes. Ability to lead and collaborate with various stake holders in technology and business including senior leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
  • Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
  • Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt

  • Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
  • Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
  • Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of trade life cycle development with focus on leading the consolidation and modernization of front end.
  • Provide technical leadership on architecture, design, and development standards.
  • Drive improvements of workflows, simplification & consolidating workflows, reducing manual intervention, trade breaks, and operational risk.
  • Developing roadmaps for continuous platform improvements and modernization of the platform.
  • Act as lead technology contact for stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensure platform stability, resilience, and production support readiness.
  • Manage delivery across Agile/PI frameworks, ensuring timelines, quality, and scope adherence.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of strong experience in trade of cycle and front end development legacy and modern tech stack
  • Deep understanding of rates trade lifecycle : Trade capture and Rates/FICC products
  • Strong development experience in: C++, Java, Java Script, MQ / messaging systems, Motif/React, Python, Sybase / SQL, -based applications.
  • Solid knowledge of interest rate derivatives and processing workflows.
  • Good understanding of ISDA and FpML standards.
  • Experience in Agile and PI delivery models.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and distributed systems design.
  • React and Sybase/ SQL Server DB experience.
  • Demonstrate deep ownership of the business domain and trade processing workflows.

Pay range

$106,500.00 - $173,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
