Job Description:This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.
Responsibilities:- Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
- Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
- Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
- Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
- Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
- Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
- Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
- Lead and coordinate development activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and delivery against agreed timelines and objectives.
- Partner with Business Analysts to ensure solutions are built to defined specifications.
- Provide day-to-day support to Front Office (FO), Finance, and Trading desks, including reporting and issue resolution.
- Perform detailed data analysis to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve issues in compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
- Participate in architecture, design, development, code reviews, and implementation of data warehousing platforms and enterprise applications.
- Provide technology recommendations for the design, implementation, enhancement, or migration of applications leveraging modern data technologies.
- Implement solutions aligned with project charters, design documents, and business requirements.
- Drive project execution and provide leadership to ensure successful delivery, while guiding team members to achieve collective objectives.
- Collaborate across teams, applications, and operational groups to ensure seamless delivery of business outcomes.
Required Qualifications:- 7+ Years of experience in Python 3.x
- Experience with Pub/Sub and Queue Messaging Systems (AMPS Preferred)
- Database skills - SQL, Oracle, Table Design experience
- Able to adopt and leverage a N-Tier Component Based Architecture
- Analytical and Object-Oriented Design/Programming Skills
- Strong Team Player
Desired Qualifications:- Proven ability to work within a team with good interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable with an Event Based Paradigm, Multithreading, and Asynchronous concepts
- Eager and willing to learn the business and existing systems
- Familiarity with IRS, CDS, Repos, and Futures/Options Products.
- MongoDB - NoSql, JSON, design patterns.

Pay range
$106,500.00 - $173,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
