Overview

We are looking for a Farm Boy Business Lead who is accountable for driving the growth, performance, and commercialization of Farm Boy's digital business. Acting as the owner of the Farm Boy digital business, this role is responsible for translating the broader eCommerce strategy into a clear business plan, identifying opportunities to accelerate growth and digital adoption, and ensuring strong execution across customer experience, commercial performance, and cross-functional initiatives.

This role will work closely with teams across Digital, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and external partners to deliver a seamless and compelling Farm Boy customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic and commercially minded leader who can connect customer needs, business performance, and digital opportunities to deliver measurable results.

Here's what you'll be focusing on:
  • Owns Farm Boy eCommerce Business Performance: Accountable for Farm Boy's eCommerce outcomes, including revenue, conversion, customer growth, retention, average order value, profitability, and digital penetration. Monitors performance, identifies risks and opportunities to improve results.
  • Develops and Executes the Farm Boy eCommerce Strategy: Translates Farm Boy's business priorities and enterprise eCommerce objectives into an annual digital commerce plan. Identifies customer, category, market, and competitive opportunities to accelerate digital adoption and drive incremental growth.
  • Leads Commercialization and Launch Readiness: Owns the business readiness and go-to-market plan for Farm Boy eCommerce launches, new capabilities, major campaigns, and platform enhancements. Defines success metrics, monitors launch performance, and leads optimization.
  • Orchestrates Cross-Functional Execution: Coordinates Digital Experience, Site Merchandising, CRM, Paid Media, Analytics, Technology, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and external partners to ensure all work is aligned to Farm Boy's commercial priorities and customer proposition.
  • Owns the Trading Calendar and Performance Cadence: Owns the Farm Boy eCommerce trading rhythm (adapted from banner), integrating seasonal plans, promotional priorities, category strategies, customer engagement programs, and business reviews.
  • Acts as Primary eCommerce Partner to Farm Boy Leadership: Serves as the main business interface between eCommerce and Farm Boy leadership. Aligns stakeholders on strategy, priorities, performance risks, investment needs, and customer experience opportunities.
  • Defines Business Requirements and Prioritization Inputs: Represents the Farm Boy business in product, experience, site merchandising, CRM, media, analytics, and technology planning. Ensures initiatives are prioritized based on customer impact, commercial value, and business case delivery.


What you should have:
  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail, digital, marketing, merchandising, category management, or a related commercial function.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering business results through cross-functional leadership, planning, and execution.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing performance against revenue, growth, customer, or profitability objectives.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable plans and deliver measurable results.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience working across digital, retail, merchandising, marketing, technology, and/or customer experience functions.
  • Experience launching or scaling digital products, platforms, eCommerce capabilities, or customer experiences is preferred.
  • Experience in grocery retail, omnichannel commerce, or digital channel management is preferred.
