Our law firm is seeking a family attorney who can assist clients in navigating the sensitive legal issues of family law, including child custody, child abuse, and domestic violence. Job seekers should be equally familiar with prenuptial agreements, divorce, alimony, child support, and real estate, and be able to effectively engage in oral debate and negotiation even in highly stressful and emotional situations. Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for important work, including:
• Manage full case-handling responsibilities from inception through resolution
• Independently handle decision-making on a case-by-case basis.
• Develop a strategic approach and provide leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants
• Work as part of a team with all levels of experience and be open to cross-training for coverage outside the associate duties.
• Cultivate relationships with the firm's existing and future clients.
• Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation
• Foster and maintain an excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication and thorough advisement

Qualifications
• Must have worked in Family Law for at least two years.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
