Description

The Department of Pathology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine is recruiting for an academically oriented AP/CP or AP Board-Certified Pathologist with subspecialty training and board certification in Hematopathology at the assistant/associate/full professor level to serve as Director of the Flow Cytometry Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the interpretation of lymph node, bone marrow aspirates, and biopsies, along with strong technical expertise in diagnostic flow cytometry and flow cytometry assay development. Experience with spectral flow cytometry is highly desirable. In this role, the candidate will provide scientific and operational leadership of the Flow Cytometry Laboratory, including oversight of assay development and validation. The candidate will join a team of 5 hematopathologists and will be expected to participate in conferences, resident and fellow education, and clinical and translational research.

Qualifications

NY State Licensure is required. Salary and rank will commensurate with experience.

Salary range: $280,000 - $360,000 (The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Salary consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors).
