Clinic Physician - Academic Primary Care (Residency Clinic) 0.80 FTE | Internal Medicine | Faculty Position The Role We are seeking a
board-certified Internal Medicine physician (MD/DO) with experience teaching residents in an outpatient setting and a passion for leadership in academic primary care. This position blends
continuity care, resident education, and program leadership within a thoughtfully structured weekday schedule.
Practice Model Morning continuity clinics with your own independent patient panel
Up to two learners (Internal Medicine residents and/or medical students) paired with you
Afternoon resident clinic focused on dedicated precepting
No double-booking of your personal patient panel
Shared clinic call coverage within a collegial faculty group
Back-Up Phone Call Only in rotation every 3 rd to 4 th week
What You'll Do Deliver high-quality, comprehensive outpatient primary care to a diverse and underserved patient population
Teach, supervise, and mentor Internal Medicine residents and medical students in the ambulatory setting
Shape resident education through curriculum development, bedside teaching, and longitudinal mentorship
Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives and academic projects
Take on leadership responsibilities within the clinic and residency program, aligned with your interests and experience
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to continuously improve patient care and learner experience
