Position Summary As a Quality Specialist, you will support the Hartwell factory in the implementation, coordination, and maintenance of the Nestle Purina Quality Systems. You will support the documentation and auditing of these programs by updating files and assisting in all aspects of quality management. The Specialist will also fulfill the role of Net Contents Specialist for the Hartwell site, where you will develop and enhance any new Quality systems for the plant, always striving for the next higher level of compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:- Support, audit, and maintain the Quality Systems on site including Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS), Document control, Change control, Food Safety Team agenda, and Net Content Control. Assist in the yearly management review of Quality (MRQ).
- Support and coordinate the Job Aid development including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Continually develop, support and maintain both internal and external Quality auditing systems for the Hartwell site.
- Prepare for and manage factory internal audits. Manage planning and scheduling for local internal audit.
- Ensure that quality documents are kept up to date. Oversee the document change control program.
- Data management and reporting for Quality Data Collection System (QIR).
- Participate in TPM (Total Performance Management) activities, cost saving initiatives, and projects.
Basic Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years of quality systems, auditing, food safety, quality document control, related experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
Other- Two year Biology/Chemistry degree or equivalent preferred

The approximate yearly pay range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
