Full Job Description
Facility Planner to join our team in Springfield, VA. The Facility Planner is responsible for designing and optimizing the layout and functionality of physical spaces within the organization to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals. By analyzing current and future space needs, the Facility Planner plays a crucial role in creating an environment that fosters productivity, collaboration, and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Space & Layout Optimization: Conduct needs assessments and space utilization studies. Design and optimize physical workspaces to support organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and preferences for space and facility usage.
  • Planning & Relocation: Develop detailed, comprehensive plans for facility improvements, renovations, and organizational relocations.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines and budgets. Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and Government partners to facilitate the implementation of new designs and renovations.
  • Scheduling: Develop resource-loaded work schedules across multiple shifts. Provide a weekly look-ahead schedule in accordance with (IAW) PWS Section 2.3.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate design proposals. Ensure all plans and executions strictly comply with regulatory standards and health and safety requirements.
  • Operations & Maintenance: Support and oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, and repair activities as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Clearance: Must possess an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI (TS-SCI).
  • Experience: Proven experience in daily facility operations, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Project.
    • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Scheduling: Demonstrated experience developing resource-loaded work schedules across multiple shifts.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and coordinate with diverse teams (contractors, subcontractors, and Government personnel).


Salary Range $125,000 - $150,000
