Join the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) as the Facility Maintenance Manager A, where you'll play a key role in providing supervision and broad direction for the maintenance and repair of all facility utilities in District 07.

Minimum Qualifications
Five years of experience in the building construction trade or building maintenance; or in road or bridge construction or maintenance; OR

Completion of a two-year training program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering plus three years of experience in the building construction trade or building maintenance; or in road or bridge construction or maintenance; OR

Eighteen semester hours in a construction field or engineering plus two years of experience in the building construction trade or building maintenance; or in road or bridge construction or maintenance.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:

As the Facility Maintenance Manager A, you'll help create a positive impact on every job you work on. In this role, you will:

• Prepares and reviews construction/maintenance documents and expenditures for contracts, projects, and RFP's.
• Approves purchasing requests up to approved limits.
• Maintains records incidental to all activities of the facility.

• Prepares facility related information and reports for justifications for all expenditures and manpower.

• Consults with other state agencies, directors, architects, project managers, contractors and contract engineers.

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday/6:00 am-4:30 pm
Compensation: Salary depends on qualifications.
