Facilities Project Manager to support the management of our regional office portfolio across approximately 20 locations. Based at our NYC Headquarters and reporting to the Director of Corporate Real Estate, this role will independently manage assigned regional renovation and facilities projects from initial planning and budgeting through construction and project close-out, while supporting day-to-day facilities operations across the regional offices.
The Facilities Project Manager will also partner closely with the National Facilities Managers on larger and more complex construction projects, providing project coordination and support to the designated project lead. The role will collaborate with Office Managers, internal business partners, landlords, property managers, consultants, and vendors to ensure projects and facilities services are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with Bessemer's quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:- Manage assigned construction, renovation, and workplace improvement projects across Bessemer's regional office portfolio, from initial scope development and budget tracking through construction and project close-out.
- Manage architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, and other external partners for assigned projects to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Bessemer's quality standards, including coordinating and tracking construction documents, permitting, site inspections, punch lists, and close-out requirements to support project readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and report on project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and key deliverables; proactively identify potential delays, cost impacts, and matters requiring escalation.
- Collaborate with internal partners, including IT, Security, Office Services, Marketing, Procurement, Legal, and local Office Managers, to coordinate project requirements and support workplace initiatives.
- Support the National Facilities Managers on larger and more complex construction projects, assisting them with coordination, documentation, scheduling, budget tracking, vendor management, and other project needs.
- Serve as the primary Corporate Real Estate contact for regional Office Managers, landlords, and property management teams on day-to-day facilities matters, coordinating maintenance and building-related needs to maintain safe, secure, clean, and well-functioning workplaces.
- Maintain facilities records and documentation related to building systems, inspections, vendor certifications, regulatory requirements, and other operational needs across the regional portfolio.
- Support the Director of Corporate Real Estate with budget planning and forecasting, project and operating expense tracking, contract and procurement workflows, and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve facilities processes, service delivery, operational efficiency, and consistency across the regional office portfolio.
- Travel to regional offices as required to support projects, facilities operations, inspections, and other business needs.
Qualifications:- 7+ years in construction/facilities, project management, preferably in a multi-site or regional capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, problem-solving, adaptability and collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or related field,
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Bluebeam Revu a plus
The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive based on individual and company performance.
