Role Scope- Build and run the software layer over facility controls: BMS and EPMS integrations, alarm pipelines, and automated response.
- Write integrations against controls protocols so plant data lands in one queryable place.
- Build alarm rationalization and routing so operators see signal, not noise.
- Automate controlled responses to known plant conditions, safely, with rollback.
What We're Looking ForThe below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.- You've written software against building or industrial controls: BACnet, Modbus, OPC-UA.
- You've fixed an alarm flood problem with engineering, not with acknowledgment fatigue.
- You respect the blast radius of touching live plant and design accordingly.
- You're fluent in Python or Go plus the messiness of OT data.
- Bonus: Data center BMS and EPMS. Ignition or Niagara. Time-series databases. Safety instrumented systems awareness.
