Facilities Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Facility & Automation Manager to lead facility maintenance and automation system performance, ensuring operational uptime, safety, and efficiency through proactive troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
How you create impact
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on warehouse automation equipment, including conveyors, sorters, labelers, carton closers, and pick systems.
• Monitor system performance, track KPIs, manage spare parts inventory, and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Oversee facility maintenance across warehouse, office, and yard operations, ensuring building systems, infrastructure, and equipment remain safe and fully operational.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and repair opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring timely service delivery and compliance with site safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, regulatory, and company safety requirements through audits, inspections, emergency preparedness activities, and accurate maintenance documentation.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, repairs, vendor services, and spare parts usage to support operational excellence and compliance.
What we would like you to bring
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, automation, or material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance within a distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), including monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting automated conveyor and sortation systems.
• Experience with Blue Yonder WMS/WCS solutions is a strong plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications in industrial electrical, mechanical maintenance, OSHA, or a related technical field are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial electrical systems, motor drives, sensors, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining conveyors, sortation systems, automated labelers, carton sealing equipment, and other warehouse automation technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience utilizing CMMS, maintenance management, or inventory tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and minimize operational downtime.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and vendor management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, leadership, and external service providers.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
