As the Facilities Manager, you will maintain the efficient and smooth operation of the physical workplaces.
What you'll do in your role:
- Lead day-to-day facilities operations across multiple locations, ensuring all systems, equipment, and infrastructure are fully operational
- Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime and extend asset life
- Oversee maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration systems, electrical, plumbing, and warehouse equipment
- Manage and prioritize work order systems, ensuring timely and high-quality resolution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and contractors, including sourcing, scheduling, and performance oversight
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, inspections, and building codes
- Support capital projects, renovations, and facility improvements, including permits and contractor coordination
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies to support uninterrupted operations
- Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing facilities team, setting clear expectations and accountability
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Transportation, and Leadership to proactively address facility needs
- Support emergency response efforts, including after-hours issues when needed

What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- 5-7 years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience (industrial or warehouse environment preferred)
- 2-4 years of experience leading or supervising a team
- Strong understanding of blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics; ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Experience maintaining flexibility and the highest level of service in high-pressure and/or stressful situations
- Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and work order systems
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and external service providers
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements (OSHA experience preferred)
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to typical maintenance materials
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Black Seal boiler operator license (Preferred)
- OHSA certification (Preferred)
- Welding knowledge (Preferred)
The salary range for this position is $89,605-$121,231. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
