Job Description

The Facility and Security Site Lead oversees our Facilities Management and Site Security team in the Minneapolis metro area. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all facility-related functions and implementing robust security measures to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. This role also partners with a site leader in our Lincoln, NE office for additional support.

Facilities Management
  • Plan, design, estimate, and execute complex projects related to facilities maintenance, renovation, restoration, and engineering equipment installation/relocation.
  • Develop scope of work/specifications for general construction, office/furniture relocations, and related systems.
  • Procure and coordinate design services and contractors, focusing on quality, cost, and timely completion.
  • Manage budget for capital and expenses; contribute to departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop facility strategies for space utilization, occupancy planning, and testing equipment, including utility planning.
  • Investigate and resolve facility-related issues using standard problem-solving tools/methods.
  • Lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery, and safety; support product teams, Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities, and site goals.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments to support organizational objectives.
  • Partner with vendors and property management for needs and payments.

Building Security Administration
  • Ensure protection and security of the associates as well as company property in the most effective manner.
  • Manage the entry and exit points (e.g., front desk, storage & shipping area) of the site to ensure adequate safeguards.
  • Effectively manage site access controls (e.g., badges, keys, video, and alarm systems)
  • Implement and manage emergency systems.
  • Maintain readiness for various audits and compliance regarding site security.

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordination
  • Coordinate and oversee HSE activities with the regional shared services support.
  • Ensure site necessities and compliance with local and company regulations are being met.
  • Coordinate various certifications like MNSTAR and ISO 14001 with shared services and external agencies or internal groups.

Building Amenities and Shipping/Receiving Support
  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment.
  • May support general office upkeep, including ordering and restocking kitchen, breakroom, and office supplies (e.g., snacks, beverages, utensils) and ensuring cleanliness of shared equipment such as water and coffee machines.
  • May support conference room management including scheduling, maintenance, and equipment needs.
  • Supervise the shipping and receiving operations, including direct oversight of the Shipping & Receiving employee.
  • Serve as the primary backup for shipping and receiving duties during employee absences, ensuring continuity of mail, deliveries, and related logistics.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or Business Administration or equivalent field required and/or 10+ years of commensurate experience in lieu of education.
  • At least 6+ years of related facilities management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and security protocols.
  • Familiarity with standard office software and facilities management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Must be able to manage secure tasks such as pre-scheduled badge deactivations, office access changes, and other security-related actions without compromising confidentiality or organizational trust.
  • Must be purposeful and have a structured approach to work.
  • This position is located in Burnsville, MN and is a hybrid position, must be able to work in the office on a weekly basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Required Abilities
  • May involve tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs, along with standing for periods of time.
  • At times this role is in a normal office environment setting and requires typing and periods of sitting.

Travel Requirements
  • Very infrequent but could travel to Lincoln, NE if required.


Additional Information

The U.S. based annual rate for this role is between $105,000-$120,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.

In addition to base salary, full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's (US) Health and Welfare Benefit Plans-including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance-as well as the company's 401(k) plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective plan documents. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's paid time off and sick leave programs in accordance with applicable policies.
