Job Summary:
Ensures safe, functional, and well-maintained facilities by coordinating routine maintenance and responding promptly to facility needs. Supports operational efficiency by scheduling repairs, tracking work orders, and monitoring service quality to minimize disruptions. Creates, maintains, and updates comprehensive maintenance records, asset inventories, compliance documentation, and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure accurate tracking and timely service delivery. Collaborates with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to address standard facility maintenance issues and maintain compliance with organizational standards. Communicates proactively with employees regarding maintenance activities, disruptions, and impacts through announcements, meeting facilitation, and mass communications. Collaborates and coordinates closely with office personnel to align maintenance activities with workplace needs and minimize disruption. Contributes to a positive work environment by proactively identifying potential facility maintenance concerns and recommending solutions informed by established precedents, while identifying opportunities for improvement, enhanced space utilization, and supporting an ever forward mindset in facility operations. Enhances team productivity and satisfaction by maintaining clean, organized, and reliable workspaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates routine and preventive maintenance activities independently, ensuring timely completion and minimal impact on daily operations.
Schedules and monitors work orders, tracking progress, and following up to confirm resolution of facility issues, while creating, maintaining, and updating accurate maintenance records, service logs, asset tracking documentation, and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion and compliance.
Communicates with vendors and service providers to arrange repairs, obtain quotes, and verify service quality.
Inspects facilities regularly to identify standard maintenance needs, safety hazards, or areas for improvement, ensuring coordination with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Professionals when conducting work and collaborating with office staff to minimize disruption and maintain a safe working environment.
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and service contracts.
Responds to facility-related inquiries and emergencies without supervision, providing prompt support and escalating issues as needed.
Assists with facility projects, including office moves or renovations, by coordinating logistics and supporting project teams.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related field required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification preferred.
Anticipated starting pay range:
$45.00- $51.00
