Full Job Description
Manages Quick Path (QP) facilities projects and supports space planning across the Orlando campus. QP projects include minor facility modifications, equipment installations, utility relocations, painting, door and furniture work, and similar quick-turn requirements. Coordinates scope, estimates, schedules, customers, execution, and closeout using in-house trades and/or contractors.Serves as the primary Space Planner and maintains space data within LMBuildings, including seat assignments, work center ownership, floor plans, space attributes, and polylines. Coordinates drawing redlines and master drawing updates, supports space planning requests, and coordinates employee moves with contracted move services. This position does not serve as the site Space Authority.Primary responsibilities include QP project management, scoping and estimating, schedule and cost management, coordination of trades and contractors, project closeout, space planning, LMBuildings data administration, drawing and polyline maintenance, seat/work center assignments, and move coordination.Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Basic Qualifications Experience managing facilities, construction, renovation, or other small-to-medium technical projects from requirements development through execution and closeout Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects, customers, schedules, resources, and priorities Experience reading and interpreting facility floor plans, construction drawings, layouts, or other technical documentation Experience with space planning, facility planning, CAD-based drawings, space management systems, or facility data management Familiarity with building infrastructure including electrical, HVAC, architectural, furniture, and utility systems Experience developing project scopes, coordinating estimates, tracking project costs, and coordinating work performed by internal trades and/or contracted service providers Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple quick-turn requirements within an active operational environment Ability to obtain and maintain required site access/security requirements Desired Skills Experience managing Quick Path, minor construction, or small facilities modification projects within an industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or campus environment Experience utilizing LMBuildings or similar integrated workplace management, space management, or facilities management systems Experience with AutoCAD or similar drawing/documentation platforms Experience maintaining floor plan polylines, space attributes, seat assignments, organizational/work center ownership, or similar space data Experience coordinating drawing redlines and updates to facility master drawing sets Experience coordinating employee moves, furniture reconfigurations, or contracted move services Experience coordinating project execution utilizing internal trades, contracted service providers, or a combination of resources, including estimates, schedules, and project closeout documentation Experience managing multiple small projects simultaneously with varying customers, schedules, and operational impacts Strong organizational, customer coordination, documentation, and communication skills in a fast-paced operational environment Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. ul For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
