Join our dynamic team as a Facilities Engineer / Specialist II, where your expertise will directly contribute to the successful operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure in Midland, TX. Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will leverage your technical skills and design experience to troubleshoot and optimize facilities systems, specifically focusing on Unconventional (Uncon) design solutions. Your field visits to Carlsbad and surrounding areas will be essential for data collection, operational handovers, and ensuring project success. Required Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Able to implement capital budget for water infrastructure
  • Pipeline hydraulic, pump design experience
  • PSSR support through commissioning - Field time required
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in engineering design issues
  • Proven ability to perform field visits for data collection and operational assessments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations and construction teams

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Previous experience working in Midland or Carlsbad, NM
  • Water treatment/facilities experience a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with a focus on facilities or plant engineering

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to Carlsbad and surrounding areas approximately every two weeks for field work (minimum 2 days per visit)
  • Valid driver's license and personal transportation (or acceptability of provided allowances)
  • Ability to commit to a 6-month initial contract with potential for extension
