Job Description: 

As part of Intel Corporation's Facilities Operations team, you will contribute to advancing Intel's world-class facilities infrastructure. This group focuses on maintaining and optimizing critical systems that support Intel's manufacturing and research operations. By ensuring efficient and sustainable facilities, the team plays a key role in enabling Intel to shape the future of technology.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct detailed analysis and audits of electrical systems to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with quality and reliability standards.
  • Lead electrical engineering projects, collaborating with design teams, construction crews, field operations, vendors, and research and development teams.
  • Develop, review, and approve electrical specifications, maintenance procedures, and standards for power systems, including battery backup solutions.
  • Perform system capacity monitoring, implement virtual sensors, identify performance issues, and execute corrective measures.
  • Design and manage work plans for system analysis, troubleshooting, and life-extension evaluations, including replacement scopes and schedules for end-of-life equipment.
  • Review equipment test results, manage preventive and reactive maintenance, and oversee condition-based assessments for asset health and longevity.
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory and ensure availability for assigned systems and equipment.
  • Partner with electrical utility providers to enhance power supply quality for Intel's facilities.
  • Conduct breaker coordination, arc flash studies, power distribution modeling, and monitor system loads and capacity.
  • Oversee project work impacting electrical systems, ensuring alignment with operational goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related specialized field.
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, system analysis, or facilities management with a Bachelor's degree; 3+ years with a Master's degree; or 0 years with a PhD.
  • Advanced experience in electrical equipment management, facility operations, preventive maintenance, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Intermediate experience with power distribution modeling, breaker coordination, and arc flash studies.
  • Advanced knowledge of compliance standards, quality assurance practices, and system capacity management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Proven leadership experience in cross-functional engineering teams and large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities to identify and mitigate system trends and performance issues.
  • Familiarity with utility provider operations and strategies to improve power quality.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $120,860.00-170,630.00 USD
