Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of progressive facilities experience in distribution environment, with at least 5 years in a hands-on technician role
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with conveyors, sortation equipment, palletizers, forklifts, and heavy MHE
• Familiarity with PLCs/HMI (programming, troubleshooting) and experience working with controls engineers/integrators
• Excellent leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience managing teams across multiple shifts
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, influencing key stakeholders, and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Execute the site maintenance & facilities strategy aligned with business goals
• Recruit, coach, and develop an on-site maintenance team
• Own strategic relationships with site-specific vendors and source new vendors to improve service and reduce costs
• Oversee site maintenance and reliability program for conveyor systems and other MHE
• Maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems and lead escalation for site outages
• Ensure OSHA compliance and oversee site-safety programs and regulatory inspections
• Own facility maintenance OPEX and CAPEX budget
