Inside the RoleThe Fabrication Plant Manager's primary purpose is to ensure department meets all SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale) related targets, utilizing TOS Fundamentals, as well as leadership development of all personnel.

Position offers a starting salary range of $128,000 - $164,000 USDPay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA - Maintain product flow by planning, reviewing, and directing the work effort
- Consult with appropriate departmental managers to gather feedback and determine resolutions of problems concerning product defects
- Develop quality goals and objectives and implement plans to ensure adherence to specified standards
- Develop supervisor and team leader management skills
- Monitor manpower needs and revise manpower requirements when appropriate
- Meet production efficiency standards on a regular basis
- Generate and implement cost improvement projects
- Develop and implement annual expenses and capital budget program and periodically review budget performance to maintain expenditures at appropriate levels
- Plan and assign work, instruct in methods and procedures, check and approve work, handle complaints and grievances, and provide work guidance for employees
- Recommend and make final decisions for hiring and promotions
- Recommend disciplinary actions and reclassifications
- Make responsible on-the-spot decisions regarding product quality and cost-effective repairs
- Familiar with management information system, budgets, vehicle specifications, Truck Sales Orders (TSO), bill of materials, and related engineering information systems
Knowledge You Should Bring - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college and 8+ years of related experience OR 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with production planning, automotive manufacturing, process engineering or logistics
- Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- An attached resume is required
Exceptional Candidates Might Have - Prior experience in machining and fabrication is preferred
