About the RoleTom Wood Nissan is seeking an experienced and customerfocused
Finance Manager (F&I Manager) to lead the dealership's finance and insurance operations. This role is responsible for structuring and finalizing vehicle transactions, presenting finance and protection products ethically, and ensuring all deals are compliant, accurate, and profitable. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in delivering a transparent, professional, and seamless customer experience while supporting dealership performance goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & Sales- Present and explain financing options, service contracts, GAP, and other protection products in a clear, ethical, and customerfriendly manner.
- Guide customers through the finance process to ensure a positive, professional closing experience.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and trust throughout the purchase journey.
Deal Structuring & Funding- Secure financing approvals through multiple lenders and negotiate competitive terms.
- Structure deals to maximize profitability while maintaining full compliance with dealership and lender guidelines.
- Ensure timely submission and funding of all finance contracts.
- Track receivables and follow up to ensure prompt funding and documentation completion.
Compliance & Documentation- Ensure all finance paperwork complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and auditready documentation on every transaction.
- Stay current on regulatory requirements and dealership compliance standards.
Collaboration & Performance- Partner closely with the Sales Management team to optimize deal flow and customer experience.
- Assist in coaching sales consultants on effective handoffs and deal preparation.
- Monitor F&I performance metrics and consistently work toward monthly and annual goals.
QualificationsRequired- Prior experience as an Automotive Finance Manager (F&I Manager) or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive finance, lending practices, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to structure deals and close finance products ethically
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work a retail schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Preferred- Prior experience in a Nissan or similar highvolume dealership
- Automotive sales or sales management background
- Strong proficiency with dealership management systems and finance tools
