Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a
F/A-18 Super Hornet Sustainment Sr. Program Manager to join our United States Navy Product Support team in
Hazelwood,
MO.
In this role, the focus will be on leading a team tasked to shape, capture, and start new programs across the product support spectrum for the F/A-18 Integrated Readiness Team (IRT) portfolio. The selected candidate will partner with Business Development (BD), contracting, and other various programs to develop executable programs that fulfill customer needs, then lead the programmatic aspects of contracting new business activity within the United States Navy Product Support Organization including, but not limited to, proposal development, program structure / definition, customer engagement, negotiation strategy development, contract negotiations and risk management while including the latest digital capabilities in the proposal.
Position Responsibilities:- Oversees program planning requests for the development of new and derivative products
- Facilitates and influences investment strategy for the portfolio
- Closely collaborates with the BGS-G Next Generation Product Support/Growth Program Management organization
- Develops strategic plans for realigning work statement to support new business initiatives that support organization goals and strategy
- Balance the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive the Long-Range Business Plan (LRBP) within United States Navy Product Support Organization
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets milestones and operational goals
- Leads employees performing business management/new business capture activities in the area of Program Management
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Program management efforts involve utilizing traditional management techniques (Waterfall, EVM) and Agile project management methodology
- Applies technical knowledge of product support and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- 3+ years' experience performing in a leadership or management role
- 3+ years' experience leading and driving strategies and processes
- 3+ years' experience working directly with executives or senior leaders
- Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
- Experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue and opportunity management to drive performance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Previous proposal and acquisition experience culminating in business growth or recapture
- Comfortable presenting to senior and executive level staff both internal and external to The Boeing Company
- Strong natural leadership style leading by influence, motivation and inspiration resulting in excellence and innovation
- Experience with capture proposal phases
- Experience building positive relationships
- Experience demonstrating Global Perspective
- Experience with Project Management Systems Thinking
- Experience with Product Support, Support Equipment and Training Services

Summary Pay Range: $168,300 - $227,700
