Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary School diploma; post-secondary education in technical field is a plus
• 2+ years of experience with RGU Extrusion equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Demonstrated strong Electrical and/or Mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Lead Extrusion department performance during shift
• Drive and monitor the implementation of AM and FMOS activities
• Serve as primary contact for Maintenance and Shift Manager
• Maintain area cleanliness, quality, and troubleshooting duties
• Act as Area Safety owner, identifying and addressing safety issues
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control procedures and corrective actions
• Organize break schedules for Extrusion operators
• Oversee cleaning and sanitation targets for the Extrusion area
• Support AM pillar improvements and related activities
• Timely escalate quality and production concerns to Shift Lead
• Manage and implement shift training plans and actively promote team learning opportunities
• Provide shift coverage in the absence of the Shift Manager
