Onsite Job: Export Control / Product Data Management Specialist 4
Work Location: Seattle, WA (Secondary: Everett, WA)
Shift: First (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Job Description:
• Perform export classifications (ECCN/ITAR) for aerospace technical data, including engineering drawings, materials, source code, and engineering systems.
• Partner directly with engineers to evaluate technical data, challenge assumptions, and guide compliant export decisions.
• Support corporate investigations and export compliance risk assessments.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of export decision guides and internal compliance processes.
• Balance regulatory compliance requirements with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage high-volume classification requests while adapting to changing priorities.
• Collaborate with Global Trade Control and Legal teams on complex or high-risk export control cases.
Must Haves:
• Experience performing ECCN and ITAR export classifications.
• Ability to independently conduct Order of Review for export classifications.
• Experience working with aerospace technical data, engineering drawings, materials, source code, and engineering systems.
• Strong ability to work directly with engineering teams and provide compliance guidance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations in practical terms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound compliance decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities.
• Associate's Degree with 6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting export compliance investigations and risk assessments.
• Experience developing or improving export compliance processes and documentation.
• Ability to challenge engineering assumptions while defending compliance decisions.
• Experience collaborating with Legal and Global Trade Control teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to balance regulatory compliance with business needs.
• Experience contributing to process improvements and export decision guidance.
Education/Experience:
Requires an Associate's Degree with 6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting export compliance activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
