We are looking for a Security Solutions Expert. You will work collaboratively and virtually with the Security Solution Area Specialist to accelerate the technical execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities: selling best-in-class cloud services and platforms to our managed customers and driving digital transformation for our customers, partners, and Microsoft.

Your primary objective is to win customers' technical decisions so they purchase and use our security-focused solution portfolio, including artificial intelligence, extended detection and response (XDR), security information and event management (SIEM), extended security posture management (XSPM), Zero Trust, and multicloud security.

You will be the primary technical point of contact for prospective customers during the sales process and will be responsible for winning the technical decision for security opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep technical understanding of Microsoft security architectures, solutions, and technologies.
  • Coordinate weekly with sales teams and managers to understand opportunities, competitive scenarios, and engagements, and then establish priorities.
  • Remove blockers and secure technical wins for Microsoft Security and related technologies. Communicate proactively and independently with customers and establish credibility as a trusted Microsoft security advisor.
  • Develop strategies and recommendations to improve the customer's security posture, define a technical success plan, and tailor Microsoft messaging to the intended audience for security opportunities.
  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions; explain, demonstrate, and design the solution to help address customers' security challenges and priorities.
  • Present and oversee proofs of concept, explain and apply architecture patterns, demonstrate capabilities and integration within the customer environment, and promote cross-workload support for Microsoft security solutions. Use insights and coach teams to align new or evolving technologies with customers' security needs.
  • Collaborate and grow with teams inside and outside the organization throughout the sales cycle. Engage partners in co-sell scenarios and support their technical capabilities to expand the reach of solution delivery.
  • Keep your knowledge current and share your expertise and best practices to support the expansion and growth of the security business.
