JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Product Manager in Digital Channels - Experimentation, you are an integral part of the team, managing a portfolio of products across their full lifecycle. You act as the voice of the customer, translating user and business needs into a clear product strategy, prioritized roadmap, and well-defined requirements. You guide products from discovery and design through successful launch, incorporating feedback and performance data to continuously improve outcomes and client experiences. You define and track OKRs to measure impact, and you partner closely with design and engineering to remove blockers and deliver high-quality results. With a strong focus on scalability, resiliency, and stability, you help ensure our platforms continue to meet evolving business needs, transforming the way features are managed at Chase.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and support multiple applications concurrently across a portfolio of related platforms and tools
  • Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Partner cross-functionally with design and engineering to clarify scope, remove blockers, and ensure solutions meet requirements
  • Build the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Stay current with best practices in experimentation, statistics, and analytics, and apply them to platform development
  • Triage production issues to identify root cause and prioritize solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Snowflake, with the ability to create complex queries and analyses
  • Strong background in statistical methods for A/B Testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to self-direct and work independently
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex, technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Proven ability to collaborate and achieve actionable results with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to large audiences.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Advanced statistical knowledge related to experimentation, including Contextual Multi-Armed Bandit (CMAB), Sequential Testing, CUPED (Controlled Experiments Using Pre-Experiment Data), and other advanced methodologies.
