  • 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment (With possibility of extension)

A leading video, audio, and voice technologies company is seeking an Experiential Marketing Retail Technical Events Specialist to support the planning, deployment, and operation of technical systems for experiential retail activations, product demonstrations, and live events. This hands-on role combines event technology, systems integration, networking, audiovisual support, logistics, and onsite troubleshooting to deliver engaging customer experiences across retail and event environments.

Experiential Marketing Retail Technical Events Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Support the technical planning, design, setup, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and teardown of experiential marketing activations, retail demonstrations, and event technology systems, including audio/video, lighting, networking, power distribution, HVAC integration, and live production environments.
  • Create and maintain wiring diagrams, installation documentation, equipment configurations, network infrastructure, device management plans, and technical deployment procedures while supporting content testing, demo validation, and system optimization.
  • Configure, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot event technologies, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers, displays, home theater equipment, audio systems, networking hardware, and integrated AV solutions across Apple, Android, Windows, and MacOS environments.
  • Manage event logistics activities, including equipment preparation, inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, load-in, load-out, onsite support, device provisioning, account management, quality control testing, and technical issue resolution during live activations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and event teams to deliver technical solutions, support continuous improvement initiatives, research emerging technologies, recommend equipment enhancements, and adapt rapidly to changing event requirements and operational needs.

Experiential Marketing Retail Technical Events Specialist Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting events, systems integration, experiential marketing, technical operations, or related environments.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting retail activations, product demonstrations, or customer-facing event environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience with professional and consumer audiovisual systems, including displays, audio systems, signal distribution, signal conversion, cabling, connectors, networking, power systems, and environmental technologies.
  • Experience creating and interpreting wiring diagrams, installation documentation, and technical deployment plans.
  • Strong understanding of networking infrastructure, internet connectivity, and on-site network configuration management.
  • Technical familiarity with smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers, televisions, home theater systems, and related consumer technologies.
  • Proficiency supporting both Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and integrated technology systems in live environments.
  • Experience conducting quality control testing of digital applications across Apple, Android, and Windows ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting HVAC integration, live sound reinforcement, and advanced AV environments is preferred.
  • Experience building or supporting AV mixing racks and systems integrations is preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically 4-5 days per month between Southern California, Las Vegas, and Dallas.

Shift:
  • Monday to Friday, 9/80 schedule.
  • Overtime is not expected but may be possible based on business need.
