Full Job Description
Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as an Experienced Water Resources Engineer in Columbia, MD; Herndon VA; Washington, DC. Responsibilities include: - Assisting the design team with preparation of roadway drainage and stormwater designs - Performing hydrology and hydraulics design calculations for roadway/site drainage - Performing design calculations for stormwater management and erosion and sediment control - Performing hydrology and hydraulics calculations for bridge and culverts - Coordinating with multiple utility owners, MDOT, municipalities and regulatory agencies - Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects - Preparing design computations and quantity estimates - Assisting with quantity take-offs and cost estimates for projects - Some travel will be required A valid driver's license and frequent travel will be required.
