Position Summary Experienced Machine Maintenance Mechanic
Day Shift and Swing Shift Positions Available
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintenance, a willingness to learn, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the reliability and safety of aerospace assets.
Functions and Responsibilities- Install, repair and maintain production/manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and performs all levels of preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications.
- Diagnose basic and some complex equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments efficiently.
- Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents.
- Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
- Train others in multiple areas and on a variety of skills.
- Collaborate effectively with others to identify, schedule, and plan repairs, maintenance activities, and project work.
- Manage work performed by to ensure compliance with company safety and quality requirements.
- Works under limited oversight.
- Source parts for repair and preventative maintenance of equipment
- Utilize CMMS software
Qualifications- 2-5 years industrial maintenance experience required.
- Preferred experience with forklifts and moving large equipment.
- Requires experience in troubleshooting one or more of the following categories:
- CNC equipment
- Hydraulic presses
- Vacuum furnaces
- X-rays
- Lasers
- PLC's/Electrical
- General knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities preferred.
- Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
Physical RequirementsPerforms physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing and handling of material.
Use of protective clothing, goggles, and other equipment to prevent injuries. Wearing a respirator may also be required.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation- Pay Range: $31.2/hr to $47.5/hr
