Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing.
• 3+ years of family law experience, including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and domestic violence matters preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and effectively counsel clients during difficult life situations.
• Strong courtroom, negotiation, and legal writing skills, with the ability to manage cases independently from intake through resolution.
• Highly organized with exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload while meeting deadlines and billing expectations.
• Team-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and staff in a positive, client-focused environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
