The Experience Designer will report to the Associate Experience Director.
Responsibilities: - Design and refine player flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and layouts that improve clarity, usability, and comprehension.
- Translate player needs, behaviour patterns and product goals into thoughtful UX solutions.
- Collaborate with Experience Designers, Game Designers, Producers, Researchers, Art Directors, Engineers, and Design System owners to deliver cohesive, high-quality features from concept to implementation.
- Present and rationalise UX design decisions to peers and partners, advocate for the player, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
- Contribute to team discussions, share documentation and insights, and help improve design quality, consistency, and collaboration across the team.
Qualifications: - 3+ years of professional UX design experience using Figma.
- Portfolio demonstrating impactful UX work, with clear examples of design process, design rationale, documentation, and outcomes.
- Experience with UX and interaction design principles, including user flows, information hierarchy, wireframing, prototyping, and player-centred thinking.
- Experience collaborating across game development disciplines, including Design, Production, Research, Art, and Engineering.
- Positive, collaborative mindset with a commitment to learning, improving craft quality, and contributing to stronger team outcomes.

Pay Transparency - North AmericaCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$104,500 - $142,800 CAD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
