Position Summary

Stolle Machinery is seeking an experienced executive leader to oversee the Company's global Human Resources strategy, compliance activities, and legal coordination responsibilities.

This executive will provide strategic leadership to the global HR organizations while partnering closely with senior leadership and the Board of Directors on organizational development, executive talent, governance, risk mitigation, compliance, and succession planning.

The role will focus on business leadership and judgment rather than technical legal practice. External legal counsel is utilized for specialized legal advice, while this executive will identify potential risks, frame business issues appropriately, and guide effective implementation of solutions throughout the organization.

This position is expected to serve as a member of the Executive Team and play a significant role in the future leadership development and succession planning of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Global Human Resources Leadership

  • Establish and communicate global HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the HR organization while empowering operational HR leaders to manage day-to-day activities.
  • Partner with executive leadership on:
    • Organizational design
    • Workforce planning
    • Leadership development
    • Succession planning
    • Executive compensation matters
    • Talent management initiatives
  • Promote a high-performance culture while fostering employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.


Legal Coordination & Business Advisory

  • Identify legal and compliance risks impacting the business.
  • Serve as the primary business liaison with outside legal counsel.
  • Ensure business issues are effectively translated into actionable legal questions.
  • Advise leadership regarding practical risk mitigation strategies.
  • Review and support significant commercial contracts and business arrangements.
  • Guide management teams through employment, regulatory, compliance, and governance matters.


Executive Leadership & Strategic Business Partnership

  • Participate as a member of the Executive Team.
  • Partner with executive leadership to improve decision-making processes and organizational effectiveness.
  • Help drive cross-functional collaboration across business units and regions.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Support Board-level discussions involving governance, risk, talent, and compliance.


Desired Experience

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources, Risk Management, Corporate Compliance, Legal Operations, or related disciplines.
  • Significant experience advising executive leadership teams.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or multinational business environment.
  • Experience leading teams across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex business situations and make balanced, practical decisions.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and business judgment.
  • Experience working with Boards of Directors and executive leadership teams.


Preferred

  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • International assignment or global leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting multinational organizations with operations in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
  • Background working with publicly traded organizations.
  • JD or legal education is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience interacting with external legal counsel and regulatory matters.
