Reporting to the Director, Executive Search & Acquisition, the Executive Search Partner (ESP) is responsible for identifying, attracting, assessing and acquiring external executive talent for the Company to include the development and sustainment of strategic talent portfolios. The ESP will work with the Director and key stakeholders to architect and implement a vertically integrated search model specifically for external Director level talent that leverages the existing Vice President model. Operating as a trusted partner and valued advisor, the ESP will build a deep understanding of the various businesses, position requirements and desired candidate profiles to ensure a positive and successful client and candidate experience for current and future talent needs.
• Drive all search activities, utilizing retained search methodologies, to include: search intake, research, identification, qualification, assessment, interviewing and offer negotiation
• Develop and execute thoughtful strategies to creatively and proactively engage with passive, "in demand" executive talent
• Collaborate with research team to develop and continuously refine a thorough market intel strategy to identify target companies and key individuals
• Utilize multiple recruitment sources and methodologies, including cold calls and referrals, to identify qualified, deliverable candidates
• Articulate the global talent brand and candidate value proposition in a compelling way to executive level talent
• Build relationships with key senior stakeholders to define current and future executive hiring needs and provide counsel regarding strategic talent intel, competitor activity and opportunistic hiring
• Develop appropriate and consistent communications with hiring executives and senior human resource partners to ensure a positive client and candidate experience
• Partner with the executive compensation team to negotiate complex executive packages that include base, bonus, long-term incentive compensation and other executive benefits

Basic Qualifications
• Demonstrated client-centric executive search expertise gained through work in a retained search firm, or a combination of retained search and / or corporate executive search experience within a multi-billion-dollar global corporation
• Demonstrated expertise in executive search methodologies, search strategy development and execution, research methodologies, executive assessment and executive compensation
• Demonstrated track record of successful project / program implementation and management
• Strong client facing capabilities; possessing the stature and confidence necessary for working with executives
• Proclivity towards teaming and collaboration
• A passion for results, personal accountability, achievement, learning, and continual improvement
• Team-focused orientation with the ability to work independently
• Self-motivation with a bias toward proactive initiative and action
• Effective interpersonal skills and sound judgment

Ability to work remotely

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
