Full Job Description
Summary:

The Regional President (RP) serves as the senior business leader for an assigned region of Ascendance Trucks dealerships, holding full accountability for regional financial performance, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, talent development, and strategic growth.

The RP has full P&L responsibility as the leader of fixed and whole goods operations of 4-10 locations in the dealership group ensuring optimal performance and profitability.

The RP acts as the primary business owner of the region, balancing day-to-day operational execution with long-term strategic planning to achieve sustainable growth and market leadership.

Area of Focus:
  • Own the relationships with customers for truck sales, service, and parts
  • Lead the recruitment and retention of top talent to drive revenue growth in parts, service, and vehicle sales.
  • Maintain interaction with sales leadership and provide operational support to retain and grow the Region's revenue base.
  • Executes upon and corrects any quality assurance issues regarding service delivery, customer service and day to day operations of dealerships in designated region according to the company's policies and procedures.
  • Improve the operational and administrative functions and drive consistency in the assigned Region.
  • Leverages extensive experience, expertise, and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Interacts with functional heads and Central Support Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with Ascendance Trucks' corporate vision and growth objectives.
  • Create and maintain a strategic roadmap for revenue growth, profitability improvement, market expansion, and customer retention.
  • Evaluate market opportunities, competitive threats, industry trends, and emerging technologies to position the region for long-term success.
  • Partner with executive leadership on acquisitions, integrations, facility investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead change management efforts and champion continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Maintain full responsibility for regional Profit & Loss performance.
  • Develop and manage annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
  • Drive revenue growth across truck sales, parts, service, leasing, and other business lines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, four-year degree is preferred.
  • Five years management experience; multi-site commercial vehicle dealerships or similar business structure.
  • Demonstrated success leading commercial truck dealerships, heavy equipment dealerships, transportation businesses, or comparable multi-location operations.
  • Significant experience managing full P&L responsibility.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across sales, service, parts, finance, and support functions.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to analyze complex operational and financial data.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and organizational development skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned region.
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
