YOUR ROLE

The Executive Officer Support role provides high-quality, in-person IT support for the Boston office, with a particular focus on executive stakeholders, Executive Assistants, meeting room technology, device support, and day-to-day operational execution. This role will be a member of the local Boston IT team. The role requires strong technical capability, excellent judgment, discretion, flexibility, and the ability to move fast when business priorities change.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide responsive, high-quality IT support to Boston-based employees, executives, and Executive Assistants as part of the local IT support model.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for executive IT needs, including sensitive, confidential, and business-critical requests requiring discretion and sound judgment.
• Support in-person support experience, helping ensure issues are handled professionally and resolved in a timely manner.
• Take ownership of assigned incidents, requests, and escalations from intake through resolution, coordinating across infrastructure, workplace technology, security, and other support teams as needed.
• Act with urgency on high-priority Boston site issues, ensuring timely communication, clear expectations, and effective follow-through with stakeholders.
• Support device lifecycle activities, including provisioning, refresh coordination, troubleshooting, mobile device support, and end-user technology enablement.
• Provide AV/VC and meeting room technology support, helping maintain a reliable experience for local meetings, executive meetings, and hybrid collaboration.
• Assist with local infrastructure support activities, maintenance, upgrades, and migrations in partnership with the appropriate infrastructure and workplace technology teams.
• Follow established IT service management, security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Identify operational risks, recurring issues, and service improvement opportunities, and raise them through the appropriate team channels.
• Maintain accurate updates in ticketing systems and support reporting on operational activity, service quality, and recurring support trends as requested.
• Translate technical issues into clear, practical language for non-technical stakeholders and maintain a strong customer experience throughout the support process.

YOUR BACKGROUND
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant hands-on IT support experience in a corporate environment, preferably supporting senior leaders and Executive Assistants.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive and high-priority support situations with professionalism, discretion, and strong customer focus.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive issues to resolution while working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical users.
• Strong decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, work flexibly, and respond with urgency when business needs require it.
• Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management practices.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows, macOS, iOS, mobile devices, collaboration tools, and common enterprise applications.
• Experience with MDM solutions such as JAMF, Microsoft Intune, and zero-touch deployment processes.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, SSO concepts, Entra ID, Active Directory, software deployment, patching, and basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN.

Preferred Certifications
• ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
• Relevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft Certified, Cisco, Apple Support Professional, or equivalent practical certifications.
• Project management or service management training is beneficial but not essential.
