Position Overview:
Executes a significant part of functional strategy of centralized Imaging Services, Genetics and Pharmacy, to assure consistent high levels of performance in imaging care, service, and operations. Decisions are guided by Sutter Health strategy and objectives. Applies in-depth business acumen and commercial expertise to differentiate from the competition. Leads through multiple levels of management of diverse activities; translates and executes system strategy to achieve key business objectives. Collaborates with leadership, and leadership to provide direction and oversight to maintain and improve operational performance.

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's: Business Administration (MBA), Health Care Administration (MHA) or Hospital Administration (MHA)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

15 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Demonstrates clinical proficiency and knowledge to effectively plan and coordinate patient care consistent with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Understanding of clinical operations and workflows, and how operational process/workflow impacts other department operations.
  • Working knowledge and thorough understanding of health care laws, licensing and accreditation requirements, and clinical standards of practice with the ability to interpret and implement applicable requirements to ensure operational compliance.
  • Knowledge of emerging treads and regulatory changes, and how it impacts operations.
  • Business acumen, demonstrating ability to establish goals and standards to meet long and short- term objectives and make sound business decisions.
  • Demonstrates credible leadership presence with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to engage others.

Pay Range is $244,441.60 to $391,102.40 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
