Qualifications

• Licensed physician, RN, licensed social worker, therapist, or nursing home administrator with management experience in a health-related setting, or a high school diploma with substantial management experience in a health facility.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent expertise in hospice or healthcare operations and sales management.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive healthcare management experience, hospice background preferred.
• Ability to supervise and direct management personnel effectively.
• Knowledge of business processes and systems supporting the healthcare industry.
• Experience in implementing organizational process changes with standard practices.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with strong executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct ongoing agency functions, including operational planning and budget monitoring for strategic goals.
• Ensure interdisciplinary care while maintaining ethical healthcare practices.
• Lead staff in their duties related to patient admissions, discharges, and service provision.
• Recruit qualified personnel and oversee education, evaluation, and ongoing training.
• Provide adequate staff supervision and support services during all operational hours.
• Maintain community service knowledge ensuring adherence to hospice-approved services.
• Oversee compliance with federal and state laws, managing conflict and complaint resolution.
• Implement and monitor a financial management system promoting patient health and agency stability.
