The Role:As the Executive Director, Strategy and Business Development for the North Puget Sound (NPS) service area, you will be based in Everett, WA to lead the charge in strategic planning, including capital planning, strategic growth, and collaborative ventures with other healthcare providers and partners. You'll craft business plans and strategic planning materials to guide critical business decisions and program implementations. Your leadership will be pivotal in steering strategic capital projects and aligning annual goals with Providence's overarching strategic directions.
What You'll Do:- Strategic Visionary: Spearhead strategy and vision for NPS using data-driven insights to craft business plans and evaluate program potential. Lead growth strategies like physician ventures and joint ventures, ensuring seamless integration with executives.
- Capital Planning Leader: Manage strategic capital requests, overseeing the identification, planning, and presentation of proposals to Service Area, Division, and System governance bodies.
- Service Line Champion: Develop effective service line growth and outreach programs to optimize evolution and achieve NOI performance goals. Participate in committees to coordinate market and program development across Service Area.
- Portfolio Strategist: Conduct service area portfolio reviews and provide strategic recommendations for annual growth aspirations and market performance.
- Budget and Growth Architect: Collaborate with Service Area stakeholders to establish annual budget and multiyear strategic growth goals.
- Committee Contributor: Engage in Division and System projects and committees, ensuring best practices are shared and implemented at the Service Area level.
- Merger and Partnership Facilitator: Coordinate service line level partnerships and affiliations, overseeing contract development and operational setup.
- Business Development Consultant: Provide strategic guidance to medical and operational leaders on growth initiatives, ensuring project timeline goals are met.
- Best Practices Advocate: Ensure service line plans are developed and executed consistently, sharing and implementing best practices across all lines.
What You'll Bring:- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Master's Degree preferred (MBA or MHA/MPH).
- Experience: 7 years in strategy, business development, or complex business project management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Washington State Expertise: 5 years of experience in the Washington State healthcare landscape and direct collaboration with healthcare executives (Preferred).
- Leadership Agility: Proven administrative or leadership experience, with strategic agility in managing complex organizational priorities.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Anticipates customer needs, ensuring satisfaction with proactive support.
- Quality-Oriented: Performs efficiently, anticipates problems, and strives for excellence.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
