Job SummaryThe University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an Executive Director, Cadet Career Success. The Executive Director of Cadet Career Success has primary responsibility within the Cadet Leadership Academy (CLA) to create, synchronize, maintain, and promote career pathways for cadets from pre-enrollment inquiry during the cadet admissions process through graduation. Responsible for submitting a projected budget to the Associate Vice President & Chief of Staff, Cadet Leadership Academy.
Responsibilities - Lead enterprise-level planning and implementation for cadet leadership and development initiatives, translating vision into multi-year strategies, metrics, and institutional outcomes. Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with institutional goals and long-term Corps of Cadets priorities.
- Design, oversee, and continuously refine integrated cadet career and leadership pathways for commissioning and non-commissioning cadets. Implement talent management systems to identify, assess, track, and develop cadet potential aligned with military, public service, private sector, and graduate education opportunities.
- Explore, evaluate, and integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies to enhance advising, assessment, leadership development, and instructional quality.
- Provide executive stewardship and strategic oversight of the National Service Leadership Track (NSLT). Provide executive supervision and leadership over professional staff and instructional personnel.
- Provide executive oversight for the Cadet Aviation Ground School by planning, developing, and managing the six-week curriculum, schedule, and overall execution to ensure instructional objectives are met.
- Provide Design and synchronize Cadet Branch Professional Development (PD) programs aligned with Army branch competencies, coordinating targeted experiences at Fort Benning (Armor and Infantry), Fort Gordon (Cyber and Signal), and Fort Rucker (Aviation), ensuring alignment with Cadet Command training objectives.
- Represent UNG and the Cadet Leadership Academy with external and strategic partnerships in high-level engagements with military, government, corporate, nonprofit, and community stakeholders.
Required Qualifications - Master's Degree required.
- Minimum of twenty (20) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in military service, higher education, organizational leadership, or related areas.
- Demonstrated executive-level leadership experience with institutional impact. Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
