Labcorp is hiring a hybrid Executive Director, Global Client Delivery Biotech to join our team at 8211 Scicor Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule!

Job Responsibilities:

Primary areas of focus:

Contribute to ongoing and sustainable improvements in quality, speed, and service delivery for the GSM, SDL, and RSC functions while ensuring alignment with the broader PM organization (Study Management, Maintenance, and Setup).

  • Client: Deliver market-leading quality in an environment of increased regulatory scrutiny through a systematic quality program focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and client value creation.

  • Technology & Innovation: Champion the evaluation and adoption of technologies, digital capabilities, and new ways of working that simplify processes, reduce manual effort, increase scalability, and enable teams to provide faster, more responsive, and differentiated service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the Biotech Project Management organization, including the Global Study Manager (GSM), Study Design Lead (SDL), and Regional Study Coordinator (RSC) functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, client expectations, and business growth strategies.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing organization by attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. Foster an inclusive, accountable, and engaging culture that supports employee growth, succession planning, and leadership development.

  • Drive workforce planning and organizational readiness to support current operations and future growth while ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budget commitments.

  • Accountable for the overall performance, quality, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes of the Biotech Project Management organization. Establish clear objectives and monitor performance metrics.

  • Lead strategic resource planning and allocation to ensure optimal delivery performance, client satisfaction, and achievement of service level commitments across the portfolio.

  • Ensure consistent governance, standardization, and continuous evolution of project management processes, procedures, and operating models to support scalability, quality, and operational excellence.

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute organizational strategies, business plans, and transformation initiatives that strengthen competitive advantage and support long-term growth.

  • Champion Project Management excellence across Labcorp by advancing PM capabilities, promoting best practices, and strengthening collaboration across business units and project management disciplines.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and operational excellence. Leverage data, performance insights, and employee feedback to identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, efficiency, and the overall client experience.

  • Lead the evaluation, adoption, and optimization of technology, automation, digital tools, and AI-enabled solutions to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, improve scalability, and create faster, more effective ways of serving clients. Act as a change leader to drive technology adoption and maximize business value from transformation initiatives.

  • Identify and advance business growth opportunities, service enhancements, and strategic initiatives that strengthen client relationships, differentiate Labcorp in the marketplace, and contribute to revenue growth and operational performance.

  • Create a client-centric culture that focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes through proactive risk management, continuous service enhancement, and operational excellence. Partner across the organization to remove barriers, accelerate issue resolution, and implement scalable solutions that strengthen client relationships and long-term business growth.

  • Serve as a senior leader and trusted partner across Central Labs, Commercial, Partnership Solutions, Operations, Technology, and other Labcorp business units to influence decisions, align priorities, and deliver integrated solutions that meet evolving client and market needs.

  • Represent the Project Management organization with executive stakeholders internally and externally, providing thought leadership, driving organizational alignment, and advocating for investments that enhance client outcomes, operational effectiveness, and business growth.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four (4) year degree

  • 7 or more years in people leadership, leading leaders

  • 7 or more years experience in central lab services, large pharma or biotech industry

  • 5 or more years experience in change management

  • 5 or more years experience in client relationship building

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master Degree

  • 5 or more years experience in project management within a central lab environment

  • 3 or more years of experience in driving technology transformation (automation, AI, process optimization)
