Full Job Description
GJR is actively seeking an Executive Director to provide oversight, direction, and management to all programs and services provided by GJR in Indiana. This position reports to GJR's CEO. The two main services include Older Youth Services and Clinical Services. Requirements include: • A minimum of a master's degree in social work, psychology, or directly related human services field. • Clinical licensure is required (i.e. LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) for supervision per the regulations. • Five years management experience • Supervisory experience, supervising remote teams preferred • Excellent written, verbal, and Microsoft application skills. • Well organized • Ability to solve problems • Ability to lead organization and teams toward successful outcomes • Ability to work remotely and travel across Indiana and to Pennsylvania as needed. • Financial acumen • Reliable transportation Job duties: • Program management and program expansion (as needed) • Staff supervision and program supervision • Ability to engage with various departments across GJR and its Affiliates (including Human Resources, Finance, Development, Marketing, Compliance, Staff Development, etc.) to complete job duties and resolve issues • Ensure staff and client safety • Work with referral sources and key stakeholders • Complete staff evaluations • Review and have a detailed understanding of all current and new IN policies/procedures, service standards, regulations, and evidenced-based practices • Monitor and oversee employee productivity in conjunction with supervisory staff • Complete an informal SWAT analysis and report results to CEO or Board as needed • Present to Board of Directors as needed • Adhere to GJR Code of Conduct and Ethics • Complete annual training requirements • Finance: • Ensure finance ledgers, receipts, forms, etc. are submitted to GJR in a timely manner. • Ensure expenses and purchase requests are completed in a timely manner and approved/denied accordingly. • Monitor and adhere to GJR in Indiana's approved budgetary guidelines. Continuously monitor Profit and Loss statement to make appropriate corrections. • Ensure programs operate within identified budget. • Marketing and Public Relations: • Complete RFP's, grants, and other fundraising activities in partnership with the Development department. • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with referring agency staff, especially Agency Directors, Chief Probation Officers, Judges and any key staff involved with the referral process. • Meet with referral agency staff frequently.
